End of season for roses and apples

We have now finished picking both roses and apples so the shop is looking a little empty! Anyway, we are busy making lots of delicious homemade soups, new flavours of pies and quiche and lots more homemade goodies for you to enjoy over the cooler months.

A big thank you to all who helped

A big thank you to all our friends and customers who helped raise money to send to food water shelter inc, a charity that is currently building the Kesho Leo children's village in Tanzania, East Africa (where our daughter is currently based as their volunteer nurse).

Tutti Fruitti donated the prizes and 100% of what we raised has been forwarded to help with this project.

The winners of our fundraiser were notified on Mothers Day:

Apple season coming to an end

We are now picking pink lady and granny smith apples and the season is coming to an end. We do not have any bulk supplies this year as we lost more than half our crop to hail storms. All our apples have hail marks on them but they still taste delicious so come and try them before they are all gone.

Lots of goodies for Easter Weekend

We will be open right through Easter Weekend - every day from Thursday through to Easter Monday with the shop full of lots of delicious goodies.

Have you tried our homemade pies and quiche - new flavours to treat your tastebuds!

Real-fruit ice-cream, everybody's favourite - pick your own berries to blend into your ice-cream.

Freshly picked apples from our orchard - jonathon, jonagold and the first of the fuji pick. All our apples have been hit by hail so they have a few marks but they still taste great.

Lots of figs at the moment too - both the black genoa and white adriatic, as well as our yummy fig jam for the real fig lovers.

And of course, lots and lots of fragrant roses fill the shop - so come and enjoy your own Tutti Fruitti experience this weekend!

Jonagold and Jonnee Apples now available

We are now picking the beautiful Jonagolds, definitely my favourite apple, simply the best! And for the Jonathon lovers we have the Jonnee, tangy and juicy, but only for a few weeks. Jonagolds will be available for 1-2 months and during that time we will also start picking the Fuji as well.

We do not have many figs and raspberries this season as most of them have been written off with too much rain. Making lots of jam from those that we can salvage, so come and try those instead!

Lots of roses happening at the moment as well so the shop is overflowing each weekend with all the vibrant colours and beautiful fragrances.

Now picking new season apples and berries

We have now started picking the first of the new season apples - Royal Gala. Our apples were hit very hard by hail in November so we have lost about 80% of our crop and the apples that we have left have hail marks on them. They still taste sweet and juicy and nothing beats a tree-ripened apple so come and give them a try. In 3-4 weeks we will also be picking Jonathons and Jonagolds so check here for regular updates.

Raspberries and blackberries are now cropping again as well and very delicious!
